We had just moved to Arusha when that film was being made. I was still in school in Nairobi at the time and missed it.

Yes Mrs Rushbrooke, she was evil. I think there would be a few people who would like to meet her again.

Tengeru / Tengeru
16 July, 2010, 02:05
Hi I was born in Africa and reading article's like this about the Polish camp in Tengeru really opens yours eyes how people where treated in WW2.
I when to school in Arusha and in all that time I did not know any think about Tengeru. I am sadden that nothing was ever said about those times to us by our parents. I think it should have been some thing in the History lesson in school too.
It just goes to show that so much went on in Africa in those years and with the benefit of the Internet we can all learn and read other peoples experience's.

Yes I remember Mr Singh, got me in to trouble a couple of times. We used to go to the school when every one was on holiday and swim in the pool.
We did have permission from BL Jones, but he still reported us. I can remember him roaring around on the tractor
