My name is Carmen Wag now Hayne I was born in Dar and attended school at Mbeya and Arusha, my parents Albina and Arthur Wag arrived in Tengeru as displaced persons from Poland originally. There is a very good book written by Lodzia Kordas who resides in Perth Australia and she wrote a book "Travel Without Choice" giving information from the time she arrived in Tengeru to the time she left East Africa and arrived in Australia. There are a lot of names of Polish families that are mentioned in the book, and it may be of interest to a lot of people.
